Farmer's Market Harvest Brunch
Do you have any fruit trees? A garden? Or even a tomato plant? If so, you know this time of year there's a bumper crop of produce just waiting to be picked and eaten. I hosted a Farmer's Market Harvest Brunch to share some of our bounty with those I love. I also get to share this party with everyone on the Fall Party Hop this year! I'm thrilled to be part of the 5th and final day of the hop. If you are coming over from Carolina at Mint Event Design, welcome to Halfpint!! Isn't Carolina amazing? I just love that talented woman! Farmer's Market Welcome
Who doesn't love fresh food!? It makes it especially easy for clean eating when you pick as much as you can or know the person who did! I wanted a fun and festive welcome to the party with an antique highchair guiding people to the buffet.
I had a great time collecting all the galvanized, wooden, and rustic elements from my house to display all this delicious harvest treasure!

The color palette was inspired by rolled bark and rich velvet pumpkins I found at JoAnne's in Royal Blue and Raspberry. Pair the pumpkins with a little blue truck and what do you get? A Farmer's Market party!
My Favorite Things
I have to introduce you to the star of the show….{Hello!} This wood slat “Farmer's Market Fresh Produce” sign is my favorite part of the whole thing! Partly because I made it from discarded lumber from my parent's barn and designed my very first stencil on my Cricut! I have a little boy in love with “The Little Blue Truck” books so this old Chevy image makes us both happy as we walk past it every day. I'm so excited that I want to share. Sharing's my favorite.
This SVG stencil file is available as a free download for all you beautiful people! Sign up for my email list and I'll let you know anytime I've got a great freebie. They won't last though, eventually it'll move to my Etsy shop, so grab it while you can!

A rustic truck is the perfect accessory!
I found this truck while looking for Halloween decorations and I walked away from it! When I can't stop thinking about an item, it's usually a good sign that it's meant for me! It only took a few days before I headed right back and brought this baby home. The cute floral prints were picked up at my local scrapbook store.
Chicken wire basket
What better way to collect your eggs than in a hen shaped basket!? My kids always fight over who gets to carry it when they visit Nana and Papa on the farm. And the scrapbook paper is a simple way to dress up that plum jam as a suitable party favor. I have SO MANY plums, giving it away was a great idea!
Farmer's Market Harvest Brunch Menu

It's not a party without food and we had plenty! The main event was Cheese Blintz Crepes made with farm fresh eggs and local cottage cheese. Never had a blintz? We eat them nearly every Saturday morning!! It's a scrumptious mixture of cream cheese, cottage cheese, and a touch of powdered sugar. That's it. Then we top it off with fresh fruit and berries, of which we had a ton!
- Cheese Blintz Crepes with berries and fruit for the topping
- Fresh bakery bread with butter, jam, and honey
- Cheese tray with nuts and grapes
- Apple cart
- Peach Tarts
I'm a sucker for berries of any kind but the strawberry, blueberry, raspberry combo is pretty tough to beat! I also love these dried cherries grown just up the way. Be careful not to let your kids eat to many! {trust me!}
Bread and Cheese Tray
I love a crusty piece of bread! The more “stuff” in it the better for me! The cranberry nut bread paired perfectly with the local butter, homemade plum jam and honey from my neighbor's hive. The seedy loaf went well with the cheeses. The cheese tray sports drunken goat, and bleu cheese with roasted nuts and table grapes. The walnuts are from my tree and the grapes from our vines in the backyard!
Apple Cart
Apples made another great favor. They also make the most beautiful pink “princess” applesauce!
Breakfast Dessert
For breakfast dessert……What? You don't have breakfast dessert and lunch dessert? You need to speak with my husband! We try to eat healthy around here but lest I grow fanatical, my hubs brings it back to reality and orders up a tray of Peach Sugar Cookie Tarts for brunch! They're so easy you don't really need a recipe, but you can snag it here if you're curious.
The final treat was a square of local Millcreek Cacao Roasters chocolate to finish off the meal. It was a Farmer's Market Harvest Brunch to remember!
Farmer's Market Sources
- Harvest Blessings Wood Sign & various pumpkins: JoAnne Fabrics
- Better Homes & Gardens Galvanized tiered trays: Walmart
- Wood Slice Turntable, Wood Cutlery Caddy: World Market
- Berry Baskets: Amazon
- Vintage Toy Truck: Taipan Trading
- Blue Ball Quart jars and Blue Mug: Smith's Marketplace

- I've got to give a shout out to Dollar Tree for the flowers. This is not the first {or second} place I'd look but I came across an incredible selection a few weeks back and was really impressed by the quality of these particular blooms. I mixed them with a few preserved stems and I think they looked wonderful!
Continue the Hop
The next stop is Jen T By Design. She rounds out the hop with a darling County Fair Party. We may have saved the best for last! She's such a talented party stylist and graphic designer, you've got to check her out. This Fall Party Hop has been such an inspirational week! I'm already planning Halloween and Thanksgiving using so many of these new ideas. I hope you enjoyed the ride!
If you'd like to start at the beginning, Mirabelle Creations is the very first stop. Happy hopping my friends.

Love this sweet party, Bri! The table is gorgeous! Thanks for joining us this year!
What a lovely party you designed! I love all the rustic touches and the locally grown theme. And I may just have to go looking for that galvanized tiered tray. Heading off to the other stops on the hop.
Love everything about your party especially the print that says “joyful” – wishing you had an online source listed for that.
such a cute setup! you are so creative and seriously making me consider getting a cricut just so I can make that farmer’s market sign!
