Ideas for Wednesday Addams Party Games and Spooky Activities

Wednesday Addams Party Game – Wear Black
On Wednesdays we wear black.
Invite guests to join you in wearing their favorite black clothing. Doesn't have to be fancy, as long as it's black.
Unless you WANT to be fancy {duh!} So the birthday girl needs something extra special, like the dress Wednesday wears to the Rave'N Ball at Nevermore Academy for the freshest look:
Or for a more classic Wednesday look, go for a black dress with a wide white Peter Pan collar.
Wednesday Addams Party Game – Braids
If you want to achieve the iconic Wednesday Addams look, you've got to have the double braids. Offer up a beauty station with several brushes, combs, hairspray, spray bottle, and clear bands. Then depending on the age of your guests, you might need to act as hairstylist as well.
Simply part hair down the middle using the comb with a pointed end for a clean straight part. Next, spray with water to smooth strands and braid each side. Once finished, fix with a clear hair band, and “pancake” the braid to make it appear fuller by lightly pulling both sides of each section of braid. Start at the top and working your way down to the end band.

Wednesday Addams Party Activity – Black Nail Polish
Our next stop at the beauty table is the black nail polish! You can get a couple of bottles of good quality polish for guests to share, or grab Dollar Tree bottles and let them each take a bottle home.
Offer nail files to smooth nails, nail polish remover and cotton pads to remove any existing polish.

The less expensive enamels aren't going to last very long but it's an easy favor to include in their loot bags. Purchase bulk emery boards and throw them into the favor bags as well, after each guests' nails are done. These bags were a lot of fun to make and feature my favorite birthday quote from the Netflix Wednesday series, above.

Wednesday Spider Pinata Party Game
Pinatas are a favorite party game of ours. My kids request one for their birthday every year. Some years I buy them, like this dalmatian puppy. Other years, I make them, like this dinosaur egg, and rocket ship.

Wednesday Addams Photo Booth

Since Wednesday likes to lay in a coffin for relaxation, I thought I would be hilarious to create a “coffin” backdrop for the guests to stand in.
Wednesday Addams Photo Booth Supplies:
- Gold aluminum arch backdrop stand
- Fitted black spandex arch cover
- Black leaf garlands
- 3/4″ White duct tape
- Black step stool
- DIY Pool noodle black candles
Wednesday Addams Photo Props
Black dahlias are Wednesday's favorite flower, so gather a bouquet she'd be proud to hold and tie with some flowing white ribbons to contrast with all the black outfits.
Other necessary props include:
- Black lace hand fan – similar
- Faux knife – similar
- Speech bubble Wednesday quotes
- “Thing” hand
- Black dahlias
Wednesday Photo Booth Fun
The birthday girl loved her coffin backdrop with her favorite fan!
And Thing made an appearance with a guest or two.
One thing is for certain though, they all had a very good time.
