Inexpensive Toilet Paper Snowman Neighbor Christmas Gift Idea
A toilet paper snowman neighbor Christmas gift idea came to me in the middle of the night several years ago. It was such a ridiculous idea to give toilet paper that I laughed out loud. But I made a bunch, gifted them all, and guess what? EVERYONE LOVED IT! So I decided it's about time to FINALLY share the project with all of you on Day 6 of the 12 Days of Christmas Inspiration.

For the cost of a few rolls of toilet paper you've got yourself a darling and unique Christmas gift you can be proud of! Gather up your supplies and let's get started:
Snowflake Gift Tag “May you never run short on the important things in life!”
Make Toilet Paper Snowman Head
This first step is super easy. Set the toilet paper roll in the center of a sheet of tissue paper and wrap the edges into the hole in at the top. This will be the bottom of your snowman “head”.
Make Toilet Paper Snowman Middle
You want the middle to be slightly larger than the head, so roll a piece of tissue paper into a loose tube and wrap it around the roll of toilet paper. Securing it with a piece of tape.
Then wrap the toilet paper roll up in the tissue paper sheet just like you did with the head.
Make Toilet Paper Snowman Bottom
Using the same technique are before, roll THREE pieces of tissue paper and wrap two of the close to the toilet paper roll, and the third tissue roll on the outside of the seam, creating a wider base for your snowman. {Think of it like building a little pyramid on the side of your toilet paper}
Wrap Your Snowman
Stack your wrapped toilet paper rolls and make sure the bottoms sit well enough to stand. Then lay them flat and cut a piece of clear cellophane. 6″ longer than the bottom and 6-10″ longer than the top. {depending on how much you'd like to gather at the top}
Wrap the cellophane around the pieces careful not to squish your tissue paper, but tight enough they won't fall over.
Secure Cellophane
Tuck the bottom of the cellophane into the hole on the base until it's snug. It should fit in well without any adhesive.
The twist the cellophane top and tie with a ribbon or twine. The tie two additional pieces at the seams to give your snowman a rounded body and base.
Dress Up That Snowman
Now it's time for the accessories! Cut all your accessory pieces and prep with double sided tape. It sticks well to the cellophane and is easy to apply.
Don't stress too much about the placement. The beauty of the double sided tape is that you can move them around until it's just right. Add the hat to the gathered cellophane at the top, then place the eyes and carrot nose.
Give Him a Smile
Add the 5 smaller “coal” pieces to form a smile and start on the larger buttons.
Tie On a Scarf
His scarf is the final accessory and the perfect finishing touch. Depending on the thickness of your paper it might need additional tape to hold it tight. Thicker paper fights the bend.
Snowflake Gift Tags
Now that you've got the perfect gift – top it off with a darling cut snowflake gift tag. These are now available in the shop! So fun and the phrase, “May you never run short on the important things in life!” can apply to much more than toilet paper! I'm thinking of other necessary yet affordable gift ideas like favorite beverages, hand soap or lotion, and even paper goods!

It’s a fun one for sure and leaves the recipient laughing. My kids would need help but your girls could do these without much help at all.
