Thanksgiving Charcuterie Board – How to Make a Pumpkin Themed Food Table
This Thanksgiving charcuterie board can be used for ANY fall themed party. I designed this pumpkin grazing table for a Little Pumpkin Baby Shower I hosted. But this fun theme can be used all Fall long! And makes a perfect appetizer tray for Thanksgiving day while the turkey is roasting.

Thanksgiving Charcuterie Supplies
Your first order of business is to gather up all the pumpkin and orange related items in your house. A pumpkin centerpiece is a must. Stick with a coral, orange, and pink color scheme to tie it all together.
Pumpkin Grazing Table
When laying out your charcuterie board for Thanksgiving, Little Pumpkin Baby Shower, or just a Harvest party, use several pieces to spread your grazing out over the table. Here we have wood boards as well as a marble serving tray.
Pumpkin Themed Charcuterie Cheeses:
- Brie cheese – baked
- Cranberry Stilton – crumbles
- White cheddar – triangle slices
- Other options – Dark orange aged cheddar, Cranberry chèvre, or Apricot Stilton
- Cheese & Broccoli mini quiches – for more substantial grazing
Thanksgiving Themed Crackers & Nuts:
- Beet Crackers – Trader Joes
- Cranberry Crisps – Trader Joes
- Pumpkin Spiced Pumpkin Seeds – Trader Joes
Thanksgiving Themed Fruit:
- Sliced pink lady apples
- Sliced Bosc pears

- Clementine “pumpkins” with celery stem
Pumpkin Floral Centerpiece
I love using this faux pumpkin as a vase for floral centerpieces each fall. And just a quick switch of blooms gives you a whole new feel. See the difference in flowers on my Thanksgiving table here.
- Seeded eucalyptus
- Red Leucadendron
- White hydrangea
- Sunset spray roses
- Pumpkin picks
Thanksgiving Charcuterie Board – Cheeses & Crackers
Cheese and crackers are the mainstay of any charcuterie board. Choose delicious fall flavored items like cranberry stilton, or choose based on color like the dark orange of aged cheddars.
You can also add pumpkin butter to the top of a wheel of baked Brie.
Filling Charcuterie Options
If your grazing board is meant as the main meal then add a few items with protein. Sliced meats are the most obvious but there are other options as well. Like…
- Mini quiches, not exactly a charcuterie mainstay, but they're delicious and an easy party finger food
- Brie and cranberry tarts – instead of a Brie round
Thanksgiving Charcuterie Board – Pumpkin Sweets
Thanksgiving Themed Drinks:
- Pumpkin Spice Rooibos Herbal tea
- Blood Orange Italian Soda
- Apple cider
- Hot Butterbeer
Pumpkin Themed Waffles:
- Pumpkin spiced waffles in pumpkin waffle maker
- Whipped cream – waffle topping
- Pumpkin cream yogurt – waffle topping
- Apple butter – waffle topping
- Pumpkin spiced pumpkin seeds – waffle topping
Thanksgiving Charcuterie Treats:
- Cranberry orange scones
- Chocolate Mousse Pumpkins
- Chocolate orange sticks
- Dark chocolate bark
- Clementine pumpkins with celery stems
- Sliced Pink Lady apples
- Slided Bosc pears
- Dried apricots
Serving mini pumpkin spiced waffles in the shape of a pumpkin is totally extra and so much fun. I've admitted my mini waffle maker obsession and this pumpkin waffle maker is no exception! You can make a full round waffle or measure JUST right and get a cute little pumpkin.
Then provide a few delicious things top the waffles. I added: whipped cream, pumpkin cream yogurt, apple butter, and pumpkin spiced pumpkin seeds. They are sweet enough but you can definitely add a little pitcher of syrup if desired.
The cranberry orange scones are also delicious with shipped cream or clotted cream.
