The most common way to announce the “winner” is a cake cutting or cupcake biting, followed down the list by cookie breaking. Take a peak at these delicious ways to communicate:

Coming in at a close second is the balloon release. Whether the balloons float up, or fall down, it's a moment of suspense for everyone.

Harry Potter:

I kind of geeked out when I saw this one-of-a-kind reveal! Who can doubt the Sorting Hat with pink baby shoes underneath? The Sorting Hat is always right! This is a clever and unique way to announce what you're having for Harry Potter fans.

So who said you couldn't be revealing while pregnant! Now get out there, reveal baby's gender {If you're in to that sort of thing} and let us know how you did it. Was it a group effort? Or did the proud parents do the sharing? Were you surprised by the results? I have a love/hate relationship with surprises, but in this game, either way you win! Congrats!
