Queen of Hearts Party Invitation

Royal Valentine or Queen of Hearts Party Invitation

I love starting with the invitation as it sets the tone for the whole event. I just love how regal these look. Tons of rich pattern, color, and contrast make it perfect for any Queen or King of hearts! You can find the Queen of Hearts Royal Valentine Invitations in the Shop.

When it comes to Queen of Hearts Party decor you can work with several motifs:

  • Hearts {of course}
  • Playing cards
  • Roses and other full romantic flowers
  • Crowns
  • Candles
  • French inspired accessories
  • Precious metals {rose gold and champagne gold to be exact}
  • Sparkle {glitter and sequins}

Royal Bust – Queen of Hearts Centerpiece

If your party is more informal you don't need a fancy table, but when you are hosting a royal soiree it's a must have! Channeling my inner Marie Antoinette, I selected a rose gold sequin and champagne metallic combination that I think she would approve. Dress forms always seem fancy and this wire necklace bust is the perfect piece to top the table. With an added crown of course!

Queen of hearts place setting

With roses and champagne, what more do you need for a Valentine's table? Well, I think ruffled plates, crystal candleholders, cotton candy stir sticks, and tons of flowers finish it off quite nicely.

*Pro Tip: Use printed scrapbook paper as a placemat to add texture, color, and tie in your theme.

Cotton Candy stir sticks are fancy addition to the beverage table. Give guests a few fun drink choices and let them sweeten it up with their sugar clouds.

A Royal Feast Fit for a Queen

Queen of Hearts theme party buffet

When hosting a party fit for a Queen, a lovely appetizer and dessert buffet is a necessity! Marie Antoinette and French Royalty was the inspiration for this event theme. Little touches like the fleur de lis topped glass bottles and French macaron tower bring a little French culture.

Pretty as a picture! When bringing together friends and family there's no better time to capture the memory than with a stunning photo booth. More sequins, more shine, and more Queen of Hearts make for a lovely backdrop. Hold the “love” balloon, wear king and queen crowns, or pop the confetti balloons. Which one will you try for your Queen of Hearts photo booth?
