Halloween Baby Shower Place Settings
Now you're ready to set all the place settings for your guests. If you have a large gathering, place settings may not make sense, but they sure look fabulous on the tables. So if you have the option….I suggest setting the tables.
Because isn't this SO much prettier than a table without the plates!?
Perfect Halloween Place Settings
Place settings are easy enough to do you just want to make sure you have the key ingredients:
- CHARGERS: Something to anchor the setting like these silver chargers, but could also be a placemat
- PLATES: Then I usually like to layer my plates, but for this one I went with a single clear plate so the silhouettes are visible underneath. That creates the interest and texture you're looking for. I cut the silhouettes on my Cricut Maker using this image file from Etsy.
- NAPKINS: Napkins can be placed next to the charger, on top of the plate, under the plates, etc. This one is best located to the left of your chargers. I chose these black with silver bats napkins.
- UTENSILS: Most people don't have black cutlery so the Sophistiplate brand cutlery is really fun to use. The knives won't cut meat so be forewarned, but they look striking against the white tablecloth. They are sturdy enough to wash and use again, and they are beautiful enough to be worth a wash!
- GLASSES: A fun cup is a great way to add detail and these beaker cups I purchased for a Mad Science Halloween party worked perfectly for this event. Since it's a more sophisticated Halloween Baby Shower however, I opted to ditch the colorful lids and straws and added a Biohazard symbol in black glitter vinyl that I cut on my Cricut Maker.
- PLACECARDS: I chose not to add place cards for this event but you could easily use these Monster food labels as name cards instead of having them on the food table. {Or in addition to!}
