Can it get any easier!? I don't think so. It comes together FAST and guarantees hours of fun. I should warn you though.

Once the galaxy colors are squished together long enough the whole ball will turn a glittery blue-black, which in itself is beautiful. Once your galaxy is gone, switch gears and start playing with your BLACK HOLE SLIME! See if you can keep your toys from getting sucked into the black hole!

Just make sure you use plastic toys that are easily washable.

Galaxy Slime Without Borax

A safer recipe for kids to enjoy making and playing with galaxy slime

Equipment

  • Food scale {optional}

Ingredients

Black glitter slime

  • 1/4 cup Black glitter glue 2 oz.
  • 1/4 tsp Baking soda
  • 1 tsp ReNu contact solution

Blue glitter slime

  • 1/4 cup Blue glitter glue 2 oz.
  • 1/4 tsp Baking soda
  • 1 tsp ReNu contact solution

Purple glitter slime

  • 1/4 cup Purple glitter glue 2 oz.
  • 1/4 tsp Baking soda
  • 1 tsp ReNu contact solution

Clear glitter slime

  • 1/4 cup Clear glitter glue 2 oz.
  • 1/4 tsp Baking soda
  • 1 tsp ReNu contact solution
  • 1 Tb Star confetti

Instructions

  • Measure black glue into bowl and stir in baking soda
    Galaxy slime glue and baking soda
  • Add contact solution and stir
    Contact solution for slime recipe
  • Continue stirring until slime stars to form
  • If it is still sticky remove from bowl and knead with hands, the slime will turn more firm and less sticky. You will be able to pat the slime on your fingers to remove any residue.
  • Repeat steps for remaining colors. The only exception is to add additional stars to the clear slime.
  • Lay your colors out side by side
    Stripes of colored glitter slime to create a galaxy!
  • Then pull and twist to create a beautiful galaxy
    Stretchy sparkly glitter galaxy slime is a kid favorite!

Notes

Please note that the more you mix the less you will see your individual colors. Eventually you will end up with a beautiful ball of blue-black outer space slime! It also works perfectly as a black hole!
